The purpose of this study is to investigate the cultural clash and Cultural empathy of Korean culture in the family events of Chuseok and Seol, through the experience of marriage immigrant women from Vietnam. The meaning of this study is to provide an in-depth understanding of marriage migrant women s immigrant life through practical stories of marriage migrant women in specific situations. To accomplish the purpose of this study, this study was conducted as a qualitative case study method and the data collection was done through in - depth interview. In - depth interviews were conducted with 7 Vietnamese married immigrant women residing in Incheon Metropolitan City. The interview period was from January to April 2017, and the interview was conducted in Vietnamese one to two times for each case. According to the result od the research, Vietnamese immigrant women are experiencing both cultural conflicts and cultural empathy while encountering Korean traditional culture. They are culturally sympathetic to the formal elements of traditional festivals, such as the representative food of Korean festivals and simple customs. On the other hand, the disconnection of communication and the conflicts occurring at the holiday place were found to be the main causes of cultural conflict.
